Today is “Stewart Filmscreens Day” on the AVDC blog as they continue to roll out new products for the 2008 CEDIA Expo. I’ve already introduced you to a couple of great new products with the Media Décor system and the Acoustishade window treatment system. Now, let’s move on to the screens themselves. For the first time, Stewart unveils an exciting retractable screen with the “lifestyle” homeowner in mind, and it’s well worth the wait.
Stewart’s newest creation is the elegant and sleek Cabaret Screen seen in the picture to your left. This stylish innovation allows for the creation of media rooms and home theaters within dens, recreation rooms, or any other home living spaces. The units are housed within a stylish aluminum valance available in various finishes and can be customized with various colors or fabrics to suit a client’s needs. The Cabaret Screen will function beautifully in rooms of all sizes, including smaller spaces. They can be seamlessly integrated within any décor, and will hardly be noticed when not in use. Their discreet nature is also enhanced by a whisper quiet motor when the screen is displayed or retracted.
Another great feature of the Cabaret is that it can be installed above a flat panel television or a picture frame so that the screen can be used without touching either. The versatility of this unit allows it to feel at home within a traditional suburban living room or a sleek and contemporary loft.
